Sector Partnership National Emergency Grant

The Sector Partnership National Emergency Grant (SPNEG) targets job seekers who have been unemployed for at least 27 weeks, defined by the Department of Labor (DOL) as Long-Term Unemployed (LTU). The goal of this program is to provide additional services to these individuals to enable them to successfully re-enter the workplace in an Advanced Manufacturing company.

There are many advantages tied to this grant, including:

  • Additional training related resources and a larger amount of grant money that can be used to update skills and receive approved training certification to re-enter the workforce
  • Business and employment services for connections to open employment opportunities through established relationships with employers and to specialized recruitment for Advanced Manufacturing related occupations
  • Specialized case management including resume customization, mock Interviewing, LinkedIn help, skills identification for targeted opportunities, job search strategy, workshop enrollment, available e-learning options, and more.

If participating in this grant targeting Advanced Manufacturing is of interest and you believe you fit or will soon fit the category of Long-Term Unemployed, or are underemployed (working in a different field for less pay, either part-time or contract), please contact work2future at 408.794.1226 for additional information.
